Dr de Kievit graduated in 1976 from the University of Adelaide. He had 5 years post graduate hospital training at Flinders Medical Centre and The Repatriation Hospital Daw Park. After 3 years working in Germany and the United Kingdom he returned to Australia and worked with The Flying Doctors Service in Broken Hill. He has worked in Hamilton since 1986 as a Procedural Rural General Practitioner with extensive experience in Obstetrics, Anaesthesia and in Musculoskeletal Disorders and Back Pain Management.
